FOREHAND GRIPS

The way a player holds the racquet affects the overall stroke style, body balance and therefore its point of contact with the ball. Each one of the grip types has its advantages and disadvantages thereby supports or limits players’ options for using different types of rotations, bounces, and shot placements. Some grips give us more options to use wide variety of shots and some are forcing us to play the way that might not be comfortable. The best and most popular grips among professionals when executing forehand are eastern-semi western and semi western. These grips have perhaps the most benefits among all, and therefore have the highest rating.
