BACKHAND GRIPS

The way a player holds the racquet affects the overall stroke style, body balance and therefore its point of contact with the ball. Each one of the grip types has its advantages and disadvantages thereby supports or limits players’ options for using different types of rotations, bounces, and shot placements. Some grips give player more options to use wide variety of shots and some are forcing player to play the way that might not be comfortable. There is not only one but there are few correct combinations of grips when executing the two-handed backhand.
